Cosmopolitan magazine was founded in 1886 in New York by Schlicht & Field Company as a high society magazine. In 1994 the first issue Russian Cosmopolitan was published. In 9 years an application to the Russian Cosmopolitan was published in Kazakhstan for the first time. In January 2005 “Cosmopolitan Kazakhstan” has become a separate and independent magazine.
